タランティーノ監督がエグゼクティブプロデューサーとして参加しているサントラ。映画のセリフも挿入されていて、これがまた雰囲気がいい。
主人公Jackie BrownとMax Cherryが聴いていただろう、1970年代の名曲ばかり。これまた映画のシーンともすごく合った使い方されていて、音楽も映画のシーンと共に印象に残るように作られているんだろうと感じる。
映画のオープニング、「歩くエスカレーター」に乗ってるJackieの凛とした横顔に流れる「Across 110th Street」は、ナイスチョイス。
パム・グリアが10代に録音したという「Long Time Woman」。ウブさも出しながら、堂々と歌っているのがカワイイ。
その他にも「Street Life」、「Inside My Love」なんかも涙ものですね。
